Major Nye

Described in The English Assassin as follows: "Major Nye was a stringy man in his late sixties with a scrubby grey moustache and pale, introspective blue eyes. He was just above average height." Father to Elizabeth, Isobel, Pip and Captain Nye. According to The Entropy Tango was 18 years of age in 1910.

According to The Vengeance of Rome his first name was John, he retired to Wexford in Ireland and died in 2001 in the care of his eldest daughter.

In the revised The Steel Tsar was the sole representative of Weiland Rock Phosphate Mining Company left on Rowe Island. A resident at Olmeijer's hotel. Died during the 'escape' from Rishiri.
